The Matawan Day Street Festival presented by the Matawan Economic Development Commission and the Matawan-Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce with support from generous sponsors was once again a huge success.
When stepping onto Main Street for the Matawan Day Street Festival, you instantly felt the energy, excitement, and enthusiasm stretching along the quarter-mile event. The festival was enjoyed by all from one end to the other.
We thank all involved in setting up the day, sponsoring the event, participating as a vendor, joining a committee, and all those who attended. Thank you to Mayor Altomonte, the Matawan Town Council Members, the Police & Fire Departments, Dept of Public Works, and Bayshore EMS for all they did to support this anticipated annual event.
Even though we had to postpone the event to the rain date of Sunday, October 8th, it did not hamper the excitement of the day.
