50th Anniversary Gala and Benefit A Great Success!

Our 50th Anniversary Gala and Benefit for Right Your Life and the K.E.Y.S Academy Recovery High School Partnership was held on Thursday, June 14, at MJ’s Buttonwood Manor.
With the weather delivering a beautiful spring day, we were pleased to see a wonderful turnout of support as nearly 200 people gathered at MJ’s Buttonwood Manor.  There were artists out on the patio showcasing their beautiful work to all the attendees as they started to arrive.  The cocktail hour provided opportunities for everyone to meet and mingle prior to the start of dinner. When dinner was served, we began the order of the night with the installation of our board of directors, two of whom were coming back for another 3-year term; Jeff Pantelas and Brenda LoDrago and one who will be joining us for his first 3-year term; Michael Grandi.   We also thanked two outgoing directors; Jackie Berman and Joe Hymowitz who completed their terms on the board and we are grateful for all that they have done on our behalf.
We had two people speak at the dinner.  First, Kathleen Loures was introduced and delivered a message reminding all of us of the purpose of Right Your Life and what K.E.Y.S Academy Recovery High School is doing for its students.  Later in the evening, a look at our past was delivered by Martha Vogt, past president of the Chamber, who said that despite changes in technology and in how business is conducted, one fundamental point was that the Chamber still provides opportunities for people to engage in face to face conversations where trust and collaboration are still critical to the growth of a business.  We then ended the presentations by calling up our legacy members and award recipients.  The evening ended with a large group of people dancing to the music provided by Adam Saber Event Entertainment while others enjoyed the digital photo booth on display that was provided by Milestone Photo Booth Rentals.
We must extend our gratitude to MJ’s Buttonwood for their help and great service before and during the event.  Their staff was top-notch, the food was delicious, a cake beautifully decorated and a gorgeous room in which to celebrate.

Thank you to Adam Saber, Adam Saber Event Entertainment for doing a fantastic job providing the music and sound,
to Shayn Satten, Milestone Photo Booth Rentals for providing the fun photo booth
to Suzanne Vreeland for the time spent taking all the wonderful photos throughout the event
